The job description mainly includes simultaneous and differentiating instruction for lower grades (3rd-6th). Additionally, the task includes some teaching hours in health education and home economics in the upper grades. Martinlaakso School is a comprehensive school for grades 1-9 with about 1000 students. About 130 adults work in our school community. Our school is located in Martinlaakso, with good transport connections. We operate in a modern school building with up-to-date teaching equipment. Our school's versatile immediate environment offers excellent opportunities for learning and movement. Our school's goal is to be a pedagogically unified basic school where learners of different ages meet. Class teaching and subject teaching are located close to each other, and the school's adults collaborate, supporting the idea of a unified basic school and enabling a coherent school path for students from the first grade to the end of basic education.
