We are looking for a metalworker/coater for our client Fincoat Oy in Riihimäki for a long-term, full-time employment relationship. Founded in 2005, Fincoat Oy is a growth company specializing in industrial hard-coating solutions. The company helps its customers improve the wear and corrosion resistance of equipment and components and extend their service life. Fincoat acts as both a partner for new production and as a refurbisher of equipment in use. The company's main market area is Europe, but it operates globally. Production facilities are located in Riihimäki and Freiberg, Germany. Your workday As a metalworker, you will participate in various stages of the industrial component coating process. Your duties include thermal spraying, pre-grinding and machining of parts before coating, as well as grinding and finishing of completed coatings. The size of the parts to be processed varies from components of a few centimeters to very large industrial rollers weighing tens of tons. Various measuring devices, such as micrometers, are used in the work, and tasks may also include the use of robots, forklifts, and cranes depending on your expertise. You will start working alongside experienced employees and receive an induction in Fincoat's coating methods, equipment, and safe working practices. Work is primarily performed in two shifts from Monday to Friday, 6:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00 on alternating weeks. The position also offers the opportunity to work at varying international customer sites across Europe. Trips occur on average once a month and typically last from one day to about a week. For those interested in traveling, more travel work is possible. Work at customer sites is often done during production shutdowns, so workdays may occasionally be longer than usual and conditions more demanding. You always travel as part of a work team, and Fincoat handles the travel arrangements.
