Institutional Caregiver

We are seeking an institutional caregiver for a fixed-term full-time position at the health center in Malax. The appointment starts with a two-month temporary contract, after which there may be a possibility of continuation. The job is shift work on weekdays (Mon–Fri) between 07:00 and 18:00. The caregiver’s tasks include cleaning and keeping patient rooms, common areas and other premises at the health center clean. In addition, the caregiver has duties related to meal service, including distributing meals to patients. The work emphasizes thoroughness, hygiene skills, service-mindedness and willingness to work as part of a multi-professional work community. Applicants should have motivation to work in the cleaning sector, positive energy, initiative and flexibility, organizational skills as situations change, and good customer service and teamwork skills. A vocational qualification in the cleaning service industry or experience as an institutional caregiver is welcome but not mandatory. We require good knowledge of Swedish and sufficient knowledge of Finnish, plus vaccination protection according to §48 of the Communicable Diseases Act.
