Job Details
Responsibilities
- Prepare and contribute to inspection and test plan development.
- Perform spot inspections, coordinate non-conformities per approved ITPs.
- Monitor installation quality; investigate NCRs; report findings.
- Oversee welding quality control; manage quality documentation; supervise NDT tests and pressure tests; conduct required quality audits.
- Act as QA/QC point of contact for equipment suppliers; support delivery control and nonconformity management.
- Travel frequently to project sites; work primarily at project locations.
Requirements
- Experience in practical quality assurance and quality control tasks in industrial projects (mechanical, piping, or electrical sectors preferred).
- Strong experience in supplier quality management and delivery control; track record with ITPs and NCR handling.
- Experience and certification in welding quality assurance, inspections and pressure testing.
- Ability to work independently on QA/QC topics.
- Technical educational background appropriate for the role; Finnish and English language skills sufficient for project work.
- Preference for experience with large industrial, energy or other critical projects; NoBo inspections; ISO-based quality systems. PED, IWS/IWT/IWE qualifications are a plus.
