In this field-based role, you will serve as a trusted scientific partner to key stakeholders across the diabetes community, helping advance scientific exchange and supporting the adoption of innovative sensor-based glucose monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and scientific societies across the Nordics.
- Act as a scientific expert and trusted partner for Abbott Diabetes Care's portfolio and innovations.
- Deliver high-quality scientific presentations, educational programs, advisory boards, and training activities.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, and Commercial teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Monitor scientific developments, emerging evidence, and healthcare trends within diabetes and endocrinology.
- Represent Abbott Diabetes Care at national and international scientific meetings and congresses.
Requirements
- An advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biotechnology, or another relevant life science discipline.
- Experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Scientific Liaison, Clinical Research, or another scientific field-facing role.
- A strong understanding of evidence-based medicine, clinical research, and scientific communication.
- Expertise in diabetes and a strong understanding of the diabetes therapeutic area are considered a significant advantage.
- The ability to engage credibly with healthcare professionals and scientific leaders.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish
