Nurse

A Registered Nurse is sought for the Vuori ward at the New Children's Hospital to provide meaningful care for children and their families. The ward treats cardiology and surgical patients aged 0–16, as well as newborns, with a focus on toddlers and infants. The role involves precise monitoring of respiratory, hemodynamic, and nutritional issues, requiring readiness for rapid interventions. The work emphasizes multidisciplinary teamwork and close collaboration with families, utilizing age- and development-appropriate care and family nursing. This is a full-time position involving three-shift work, with approximately three night shifts per three-week cycle. Experience in pediatric specialized care is an advantage. The ideal candidate possesses good community skills, a positive and open attitude, a willingness to learn, and familiarity with the magnet model. Commitment to HUS values is required.
