Clinical Instructor for K5B – come develop expertise and the future of nursing. We are seeking a permanent Clinical Instructor for the Three Hospitals ward K5B in Meilahti. We are looking for an enthusiastic, development-oriented and collaborative clinical instructor who wants to be part of building a high-quality learning environment and strengthening the staff's expertise and professional growth. K5B is a nationally significant unit treating both surgical and internal medicine patients. The care of kidney and pancreas transplant patients and living kidney donors, the treatment of complications and rejection reactions related to transplants, and demanding specialized care for nephrological patients are centralized to the ward. Patients come to the ward from all over Finland both electively and urgently. The ward has 24 patient places and a shared 10-place day unit with ward K5A. As a clinical instructor, you will play a central role in developing the unit's expertise. Your duties include coordinating the guidance of students, the orientation of new employees, and ensuring and developing the competence of nurses and practical nurses. You will work in close cooperation with the ward manager promoting evidence-based, high-quality and safe nursing care in accordance with HUS strategy. In addition, you will participate in the development of nursing methods and operational processes. The position combines development work and practical nursing, as about 50% of the working time consists of clinical patient work. We value previous experience in clinical instructor duties, transplant patient nursing, peritoneal dialysis (PD) and surgical patient nursing. You will be able to influence the development of staff competence, support future professionals and promote high-quality patient care together with a committed multidisciplinary team. Probation period 6 months. The person selected for the position must demonstrate a suitability statement for the work. Licensed healthcare professional. Suitable higher university degree and suitable experience or lower university degree supplemented by studies suitable for the clinical instructor's position and suitable experience or a vocational degree in the field supplemented by studies suitable for the clinical instructor's position and suitable experience.
