Casual Cook

Ongoing on-call contract position in Attendo Kesälampi’s kitchen in Vieremä. The role can be filled as either a cook or a kitchen assistant. Responsibilities include preparing meals according to the menu and recipes, packing ready meals for distribution, transporting meals to other Attendo homes with the kitchen’s own vehicle, dishwashing, waste management, unloading, inventory management and circulation, waste tracking, compliance markings and responding to deviations, keeping the kitchen clean, and collaborating between care and kitchen teams. Requirements include experience in large-scale catering or suitable training, Hygienic pass, B-license (manual transmission), vaccination certificate under the Infectious Diseases Act, and fluent Finnish at least B2 level. The position offers flexible working hours around mornings 6:00–15:00 on weekdays, a reasoned onboarding, on-site work with support from the supervisor, and opportunities for development within a multidisciplinary team. The pay scale aligns with the Private Social Services Sector collective agreement: 2278.80–2510.83 EUR/month from 1 Sept 2026 depending on experience. We are a smoke-free workplace.
