Class Teacher

Uomarinne School in Myyrmäki, Vantaa, is a learning community of nearly 700 students and 100 adults. Our school is a diverse learning center providing basic education, Swedish language immersion, special and preparatory education. New construction has enabled teaching and learning according to the new curriculum in modern facilities. We are developing our operational culture and various forms of co-teaching. Multidisciplinary cooperation supporting learning and an established culture of doing things together create a good working atmosphere. We encourage guardians to participate actively in school daily life. Eligibility: Qualification according to Decree 986/1998 on the qualifications of teaching staff. Sufficient language skills according to the National Board of Education's regulation 25/011/2005. In addition to eligibility, we require: Experience in language immersion teaching, good interaction skills, and the ability to act as an active member of a grade-level team. Terms of employment are determined by the Municipal Teaching Staff Collective Agreement (OVTES). Salary: OVTES. Required permits: Valid criminal record extract. Employment type: Full-time, Official relationship. Probation period: 5 months. Duration: Fixed-term 24.08.2026 - 06.06.2027.
