Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse at Silverbacken, you will perform meaningful work in a small assisted living unit that combines holistic nursing, responsibility, and close multidisciplinary cooperation in the nature-rich environment of Kemiönsaari. Your Role You will work at the Silverbacken assisted living unit in Västanfjärd, Kemiönsaari. The unit has 12 client places and is divided into two group homes: Lärkan and Svalan. Your work community consists of a multidisciplinary team including a registered nurse, practical nurses, home care nurses, care workers, and a facility manager. You are responsible for the entirety of client nursing care, from planning and assessment to coordination (RAI). You lead and guide nursing care in the unit and develop operations together with other staff. You manage the planning, implementation, and evaluation of clients' medication therapy in cooperation with a physician and ensure the implementation of treatment orders. You maintain active contact with relatives and partners and ensure the smoothness of multidisciplinary cooperation. Additionally, you participate in the guidance of students and the orientation of new employees, and ensure the development of your own professional skills. Work is conducted in both Finnish and Swedish. The work is primarily day shifts, but in a small unit, the work also includes evening shifts. What we expect from you We expect strong expertise in housing services for the elderly and the ability to act in a responsible and coordinating role. You have good interaction and customer service skills and empathy for working with the elderly. You are proficient in social and healthcare information systems and possess RAI expertise. Additionally, you have a valid LOVe medication permit. The job requires good proficiency in Finnish and Swedish. As a qualification requirement, you must have a legal authorization as a registered nurse in accordance with the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994).
