Freelance HV Commissioning Engineer – Major Grid Infrastructure Project 📍 Beverwijk, Netherlands | Freelance | 12-Month Contract An experienced HV Commissioning Engineer is required to support the commissioning and energization of a major grid infrastructure project. You'll work alongside construction, OEM, and commissioning teams to deliver the safe testing and handover of high-voltage systems. Responsibilities: Commission HV equipment including GIS/AIS switchgear, transformers, and protection & control systems. Execute testing, energization, and commissioning activities. Review commissioning documentation and resolve punch list items. Coordinate with site teams to ensure safe and timely project delivery. Maintain compliance with HV safety procedures and permit-to-work systems. Requirements: Experience commissioning HV substations or transmission projects (110kV+). Strong knowledge of protection systems, HV testing, and energization. Previous utility, transmission, or renewable energy project experience.
