Software Engineer

Do you want to develop software that solves real logistics and road transport challenges in an international operating environment? We are looking for a software engineer to strengthen LogiApp's R&D team in Jyväskylä. **The Role** You will develop and maintain the LogiApp software within an 8-person product development team. Your job title and specific duties will be determined based on your experience and expertise. **Requirements** We require a relevant higher education degree in information technology (Bachelor's/Master's/PhD) and preferably a few years of work experience in software development. You work proactively and independently, but also enjoy being part of a development team. You have a desire to develop new solutions and actively drive things forward. The position requires fluency in Finnish and English. We require expertise in some of the following areas: 1. Web programming (Java, JavaScript, jQuery, Spring) 2. API design & implementation 3. Databases (MySQL / MariaDB) 4. User interface design (UI & UX) 5. Optimization technologies (route optimization & schedule planning / utilization of AI) **Considered an Advantage** Knowledge of or interest in the logistics industry is considered an advantage. We value experience in software testing and quality assurance, as well as server environment maintenance (virtualization platforms, Linux, Windows Server). Additionally, expertise in Microsoft technologies and cloud services, as well as Android and iOS application development experience, are seen as strengths.
