Region-based Investment Specialist
Tiered Approach In line with the commitment to safeguard capacity and support personnel already in the Organization, a majority of UNDP UNCDF/UNV vacancies are advertised using a tiered application process whereby Tier 0 staff, Tier 1 staff, Tier 2 staff, and Tier 3 or no tier indicated are defined. Background and detailed duties follow, including responsibilities for portfolio development, investment advisory, partnerships and resource mobilization, portfolio management, knowledge management, and advocacy. The role is based in Dakar, Senegal and involves travel. Qualifications include advanced master’s degree or bachelor’s with experience, and fluency in English and French; Spanish is desired.

Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field or a first-level university degree with two years of qualifying experience
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) diploma, ACCA, CPA, PMP or similar is an advantage
