Infrastructure Designer

Envineer Oy is seeking two Geo- and Infrastructure Designers: one at a junior/mid level and one experienced Lead Designer. The roles focus on technical substance expertise in geotechnical design, though project management challenges are also available. Projects involve various earthworks, EIA, and environmental permit projects. For the Designer role, 2–5 years of experience in basic geotechnical design (soil investigation programs, leveling, drainage, street/road plans) is expected, along with creative problem-solving skills and emerging proficiency in calculation software for settlement and stability. For the Lead Designer, at least 10 years of experience is required, including challenging sites, mining environments, or waste disposal areas. Lead Designers will also focus on developing design services, mentoring junior colleagues, and handling client and project management responsibilities. Work involves general and detailed construction design, including mining infrastructure, dams, waste disposal structures, ground reinforcement, and renewable energy projects.
