Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead railway projects and take responsibility for their success. The role involves directing daily site activities together with the site supervisor, ensuring progress as planned, coordinating with customers and network partners, and participating in identifying and developing subcontractors. You will be involved in material procurement and deliveries together with procurement, manage project timelines, and monitor costs and profitability. The organization has units in Oulu and Riihimäki, but the work can be tailored so you can work from anywhere in Finland. The successful candidate should start as soon as possible. Requirements include an electrical engineering degree, prior experience in roles such as project manager, design engineer, site manager or foreman in electrical/industrial/construction project operations, strong organizational and project management skills, the ability to lead multiple workstreams simultaneously, excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills. Desirable (but not mandatory) additions include experience in railway or infrastructure construction projects, knowledge of track and signalling systems, experience in cost tracking and project finances, and a willingness to develop operating models and processes.
