Do you want to lead Finland's future data center projects? We are seeking a Project Manager for our client, Compute Nordic Finland Oy, who wants to play a central role in building and implementing next-generation data centers in Finland. In this position, you will lead significant investment projects from start to finish and directly influence the success of the projects. You will start your work with a data center project launching in Mikkeli, and in the future, you will also participate in Compute Nordic's upcoming projects in Finland. The employment is permanent. The position allows for partial remote work but requires regular presence in Mikkeli and a willingness to travel according to project needs. Job Description As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the comprehensive management of data center projects from project initiation to commissioning and handover. You will manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and cooperation between various stakeholders, ensuring that projects are completed with quality, safety, and according to plans. You will work in close cooperation with design, procurement, construction, commissioning, as well as customers and contractors. You will serve as the project's central contact person and the unifying force between the different parties of the project. Tasks - Comprehensive management of data center projects throughout the project lifecycle - Coordination of project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management - Leading multidisciplinary project teams and contractors - Ensuring the progress of procurements and critical equipment deliveries - Monitoring project costs, schedule, and quality - Change management and coordination of contract and risk matters - Leading design reviews and project meetings - Coordinating phases related to commissioning and handover - Cooperation with customers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders - Ensuring the fulfillment of safety, environmental, and quality requirements Expectations - Suitable technical university degree or equivalent experience - Experience in managing investment, construction, industrial, infrastructure, or data center projects - Proven track record of directing multiple stakeholders and contractors - Understanding of project management, procurement, cost monitoring, and risk management - Ability to lead broad entities in a goal-oriented and systematic manner - Excellent cooperation, communication, and negotiation skills - Fluent in Finnish and English - Willingness to travel to project sites in Finland as needed We value experience in data center environments, critical infrastructure, EPC or Design & Build projects, and technically demanding construction projects.
