We are looking for an Electrical Designer for a permanent position in Kouvola to join our engineering team! As an Electrical Designer, you will engage in genuine product development for tram and railway equipment. At Saalasti Rails, you are not just a cog in a large machine; you will get your hands dirty developing significant and demanding technology in an important industry. We don't just design behind a screen, but test equipment directly in production. Therefore, the work is primarily performed on-site in Kouvola. We hope for: - CAD-based electrical design expertise (foundation of design) - Logic programming skills (e.g., IFM PLC) - Knowledge of CAN bus technology - Expertise in electrical drives and controls, such as control systems for frequency converters, electrical actuators, and electric motors - S2 qualification - Good interaction and cooperation skills with the team and customers - Education in electrical engineering or automation suitable for the position You may not crave polished office complexes or a daily routine filled only with remote meetings.
