Bioanalyst

Terveystalo is seeking two fixed-term Bioanalysts for Helsinki Kamppi. Bioanalysts are professionals in clinical laboratory work. In addition to sampling, the diverse job description includes maintenance of equipment and devices for a wide range of local research, evaluation of results, and reporting. In addition to laboratory analysis and sampling, you will be able to deepen your expertise in clinical physiology. You will work with different people, as an important part of the job description is customer service and guiding patients and colleagues for examinations and when preparing for sampling. Terveystalo Kamppi is the flagship of the health service network in the heart of Helsinki, and its laboratory is also one of the largest in the network. The unit's emergency research range and clinical physiology research repertoire are among the most extensive at Terveystalo, and customer flows are large. In your team, you will work surrounded by broad expertise, a spirit of common doing and a good working atmosphere. The employment is fixed-term and full-time. The work is two-shift work, with working hours between 6.45 and 22.30. The laboratory is also open on weekends and public holidays, so shifts may fall on these days. Shift planning in our unit is implemented in 6-week cycles, and an effort is always made to take into account the different life situations and wishes of our professionals. We use an autonomous shift planning system, so the opportunities to coordinate your own work and free time are good. Requirements: Bioanalyst degree and fluent oral and written Finnish language skills. Experience in sampling work, clinical physiology research and/or central laboratory analysis is considered an advantage. Experience in customer service as well as good interaction and interpersonal skills are also valued. Both fixed terms are approximately half a year long; one from 17.8.2026-28.3.2027, the other from 28.9.2026-4.4.2027.
