Patria is an international defense industry and technology company with over 100 years of experience. Protected Mobility is responsible for the sale of new vehicles and vehicle systems, as well as their offering and delivery. We are now looking for a person with the title PLM Development Manager to develop PLM applications, processes, and operating models based on business needs. In this role, you will significantly influence how product data, information systems, and processes support efficient, high-quality, and transparent operations throughout the product lifecycle. You will work in close cooperation with the PLM team, business experts, IT, software vendors, and a wide network of stakeholders (production, product management, design, procurement and purchasing). The role combines information system development, process development, and the management of development projects with a practical approach. You will not have direct subordinates, but you will act as a team lead. A key part of your role is building and maintaining the PLM development roadmap: you identify business needs, prioritize development measures, and ensure that the work progresses according to the goals. You also ensure that PLM development works seamlessly with ERP, MES, and reporting solutions and supports the overall architecture. In addition, you lead development projects, put new functionalities into practice, and ensure successful implementations. You act actively as an enabler of change by participating in the deployment of new ways of working and training users. What kind of expert are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced and proactive expert who enjoys the interface where business, processes, and information systems combine. You grasp the big picture, understand how systems link to each other, and can combine business needs with information system solutions and take development to a concrete level. You work systematically, actively produce development ideas, and move things forward in cooperation with different stakeholders. We expect from you: - Understanding of PLM, ERP, and MES systems and their dependencies and integrations - Ability to identify business needs and convert them into development targets, requirements, and implementations - Experience in leading development projects and carrying out practical implementations - Understanding of information system architecture and overall management - Experience in process development and continuous improvement operating models - Ability to build and maintain a roadmap and prioritize development according to business goals - Good interaction and cooperation skills and the ability to operate in a wide stakeholder field - Ability to train users and deploy new ways of working in the organization - Systematic, methodical, and proactive approach to work - Outgoing and solution-oriented attitude - Suitable university degree (UAS or higher) - Fluent Finnish and English language skills What we offer: At Patria, you get to do things that you can't even see elsewhere.
