Sostuki Oy seeks a temporary, full-time operations manager for the Hoppiskoti children’s protection facility in Sastamala to cover a parental leave. The position starts on 1 November 2026 with a handover period in November–December 2026, and the actual assignment begins in January 2027. The estimated duration is 6–12 months, with potential extension if the parental leave and need for a replacement continue. The operations manager leads the operation of both wards (13 places) and, after establishing qualifications and registration, acts as the responsible person for the service unit. Reports to the CEO of Sostuki Oy. The role is fully administrative daytime work; it does not include direct care or pedagogical work during shifts. Responsibilities include leading staff, daily operations, scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, ensuring quality of care and child rights, monitoring legal compliance of care plans and safety measures, coordinating placements, maintaining external partnerships, overseeing self-monitoring, quality, safety, data protection, and reporting to the CEO, and developing the unit’s plan in collaboration with staff and the CEO. Support is provided by a supervising mentor, a nurse assisting with medicines and child health, and a multidisciplinary team. Salary is according to agreement.
