Job Description

We are seeking a Development Manager for responsibility and sustainable development in Pirha's support services to define and coordinate the responsibility and sustainable development program, as well as its implementation and development. In this role, you will influence the future of Pirha's operations and ensure that responsibility and sustainable development are integral parts of our strategy, decision-making, leadership, and daily activities. The role combines strategic development, practical implementation, and strong development and execution skills. You will ensure the integration of program activities into Pirha's services, decision-making, and daily operations. The scope includes climate work, ESG requirements, data utilization, and the coordination and management of development projects. As a Development Manager: - Coordinate the definition, development, and implementation of Pirha's responsibility and sustainable development program in collaboration with management, service production, and other parts of the organization - Work closely with service production to ensure that responsibility is visible in practical activities and decision-making - Coordinate the setting, monitoring, and reporting of responsibility objectives - Coordinate the integration of themes into organizational processes, projects, and management - Manage stakeholder cooperation and internal collaboration across functions, and participate in national networks - Ideate, define, and coordinate development projects - Identify opportunities for utilizing various funding instruments in projects supporting responsibility and sustainable development What do we offer? Requirements: - Suitable higher university degree - Previous experience and strong understanding of responsibility and sustainable development, including related implementation (e.g., ESG requirements, Agenda 2030) - Experience in responsibility reporting and practical implementation of responsibility programs - Understanding of regulations and requirements in the field of responsibility and sustainable development - Experience in development tasks and strategic work - Proactive, analytical, and goal-oriented approach - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams - Good written and spoken Finnish skills, along with strong communication and influencing skills Preferred: Experience with various funding instruments and application processes (e.g., national or EU funding, development and investment funding, project funding), knowledge of social and health services or rescue services sectors, and good written and spoken English skills. The employment is permanent. We can agree on the start date together. The working hours are full-time, office-based, and daytime work. A six-month probationary period applies.
