Social Worker

We are seeking a permanent social worker for the Department of Health Social Work within HUS Internal Medicine and Rehabilitation at Jorvi Hospital in Espoo. The unit provides services across several medical specialties (internal medicine, neurology, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology). The role involves assessing patient life situations and guiding them to appropriate services. The unit emphasizes multi-disciplinary collaboration and flexible working hours. The team comprises a leading social worker, eight colleagues in similar roles, and about 70 social workers across the unit. We value proficiency in both national languages, strong networking and collaborative skills, broad experience in health social work, and knowledge of social welfare systems. Experience in health social work and other relevant fields is advantageous. We offer onboarding, training, support from colleagues and supervisors, and a positive work environment. The position offers a monthly salary of 4402.72 €/month plus possible experience or other supplements. Fluency in Finnish and Swedish is required with specified combinations of language proficiency.
