The Tammenlehvä residential unit is located in Petsamo, near Kaupi's outdoor recreation areas. The unit consists of three group homes with a total of 45 residents receiving round-the-clock care. We provide care and nursing so that our residents can experience their lives as meaningful and dignified. Registered nurses are the pillars of our team, important creators, and strong influencers. The work of a nurse in our unit includes cooperation with doctors and relatives, development of medication therapy, and orientation. You will provide professional support to the practical nurses in your team; in this role, you are responsible for the nursing care of elderly people in a residential service environment, as well as the daily management of the team and the smoothness of operations. What kind of expert are we looking for? - You are a licensed registered nurse in Finland. - You have successfully completed the LOVe medication therapy online tests and hold a hygiene passport. - You speak and write Finnish fluently. - You have a customer-oriented mindset, good interaction skills, and a positive attitude toward development. Start date is August 17, 2026, or by agreement. The working time is full-time, averaging 38 h 15 min/week. The work includes morning and evening shifts. The probationary period is six months. Before accepting the position, the selected candidate must present a salmonella certificate and a criminal record extract in accordance with Section 6, subsection 4 of the Criminal Records Act, and must have valid vaccine protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016).
