HUS is seeking a psychologist for a parental leave substitute position within the Child Psychiatry line at the Pasila site's outpatient clinics for school-aged children. The substitution begins on September 7, 2026, or by agreement, and ends on May 4, 2027. The Pasila unit treats school-aged children under 13 who require specialized medical care. The psychologist's role includes conducting psychological assessments and research, family and network work, as well as delivering focused individual and group treatments and managing treatment process monitoring as a responsible employee. The work is performed as part of a multidisciplinary team with readily available collegial support. As part of Finland's largest expert community in child psychiatry, the role offers clinical work and opportunities for development and project tasks. HUS supports further education and provides orientation, supervision, and supervisor support. There is an opportunity to work partially remotely. The ideal candidate is flexible and capable of operating in rapidly changing and challenging situations. Experience in child psychiatry and an interest in neuropsychiatry are valued.

Requirements
