About the role

Do you want to be part of building a new maintenance organization with a focus on preventive maintenance and drive the development of maintenance operations in a modern workshop industry? You will have a key role in establishing work methods, building teams, and driving the long-term development of maintenance operations for one of our strategically most important customers in the Örebro region. This is not a managing manager role. It is a role for you who are driven by change, development, and translating strategy into real results. About the position Quant, together with the customer, has carried out a comprehensive analysis and a development plan for the maintenance operations. As a next step, a dedicated organization with responsibility for preventive maintenance and maintenance development is now being established. As the Manager of Maintenance Development, you lead this initiative and are responsible for translating the development plan into concrete improvements in the operation. The role combines leadership, technology, analysis, and change management and provides great opportunities to influence both the organization's development and the customer's future maintenance strategy. You lead a team consisting of 2 maintenance engineers and 3 technicians. Your main responsibilities - Lead and develop the new organization for preventive maintenance and maintenance development - Build an engaged team with clear roles, responsibilities, and work methods - Drive change work and ensure the implementation of the developed development plan - Develop work methods within planning, scheduling, and work order management - Develop maintenance strategies based on criticality, risk, and operational needs - Drive development in preventive maintenance, condition-based maintenance (CBM), and data-driven maintenance - Ensure active work with root cause analyses and continuous improvements - Develop spare parts strategies and work methods for critical spare parts - Ensure that the operation works data-driven and uses key figures as a basis for decisions - Drive and develop active safety work - Build strong and long-term relationships with the customer through business acumen, clear communication, and delivery of measurable customer value You report to Operations Manager Sweden and work closely with both the customer's management and Quant's central specialist functions. About you We are looking for someone who combines a strong technical interest with engaging leadership. You thrive in environments where change is ongoing and are motivated by building, developing, and improving operations together with others. To succeed in the role, we believe that you: - Have experience of leadership and change work within industry or maintenance - Have a good understanding of maintenance processes, planning, and preventive maintenance - Are analytical and accustomed to making decisions based on data and facts - Have experience of improvement work and operational development - Have a strong safety focus - Are communicative and skilled at creating trust with both employees and customers Experience of maintenance development, maintenance systems, criticality analyses, FMEA, RCA, or work according to IATF is meritorious. Requirements

  • Experience in leadership and change management within industry or maintenance
  • Strong understanding of maintenance processes, planning, and preventive maintenance
  • Analytical mindset with ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience in improvement work and operational development
  • Strong focus on safety
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with employees and customers
  • Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
  • Valid driver's license (B)
