T-DRILL Oy is one of the world's leading manufacturers and solution providers of pipe processing machines. The company's patented solutions for pipe joints, cutting, and end forming are suitable for numerous industrial applications across various customer sectors. T-DRILL's roots are in Finland, and its markets are global. Products are exported annually to over 50 countries, with exports accounting for 98%. The head office is located in Laihia, partial manufacturing in Isokyrö, and a subsidiary in Atlanta, USA. There are approximately 100 employees in total. T-Drill Oy is part of the Leinolat Group. How does the opportunity to build a new profession for yourself in a permanent employment relationship sound? We are now looking for people interested in machining for T-Drill in Isokyrö through training recruitment. The position is suitable for both career changers and individuals already working in industry who want to learn the profession of CNC machining. The training recruitment will start in stages in autumn 2026, and five people will be selected. Work begins with a training and orientation period of approximately six months, during which you will learn the basics of CNC machining through practical work. The goal is to become part of T-Drill's permanent staff after the training period. What would you be doing with us? You will work at T-Drill Oy's partial manufacturing unit in Isokyrö together with just over twenty colleagues. You will manufacture metal parts using modern Mazak CNC machining centers, which are used to create parts and tools for T-Drill's pipe processing machines. The company's products are delivered annually to over 50 countries worldwide. You will be supported by an experienced mentor who will guide you step-by-step through the basics of machining and work tasks. In the beginning, your tasks will include, for example, changing parts on the machines, measuring manufactured parts, maintaining tools, and finishing parts. As your skills grow, you will gradually learn new work steps, how to set up new jobs, and how to make small changes to machining values and programs. This way, you can gradually develop into more demanding machining tasks. Training includes, among other things: - Basics of CNC machining - Use and setup of machining centers - Measurement techniques and quality assurance - Occupational safety training - Practical on-the-job learning in production - Training days organized outside the company as needed Work is performed in shifts. Morning shift Monday to Friday 7:00–15:00 and evening shift Monday to Thursday 15:00–01:00. Additionally, we have a weekend shift. Interest in working weekend shifts is considered an advantage. What do we hope for? You do not need to be a finished machining professional. The most important things are an interest in technical work, a desire to learn new things, and the courage to take on new challenges. Carefulness, precision, and the ability to follow instructions are emphasized in a machinist's work. We value a proactive approach and a desire to take responsibility for one's own learning. We also require readiness for shift work. The position requires proficiency in the Finnish language, as orientation, work instructions, and training are conducted in Finnish. Previous experience or education in industrial tasks is beneficial but not essential. The most important things for us are the right attitude and a genuine interest in machining. A technical mindset, logical reasoning, and a desire to understand how machines and manufacturing processes work will help you succeed in the position. What do we offer?
