We are hiring for autumn for our catering team: Shift Supervisor for catering events. The role is based mainly in Helsinki, with occasional assignments elsewhere in the Helsinki metropolitan area. As a shift supervisor you act as a key link between the client, the rest of the team and the catering kitchen. You are responsible for ensuring the event runs smoothly and for organizing staff work and ensuring the service proceeds on schedule. The duties include setting up and dismantling the event, preparing buffet and service stations, presenting foods and beverages, customer service, and communicating with the client during the event. You may also participate in service yourself and be prepared to handle arising situations independently. A B driving licence is required and driving a van is familiar because you will transport catering supplies to venues. The work is available with good hours for the entire autumn season. Possibility of continuation. We expect previous catering or event work experience and the ability to work independently and responsibly. Experience as a shift supervisor or similar leadership role is a plus. We also value good customer service and teamwork, organizational ability, and a brisk and flexible work attitude.
