Job Description
Fixed-term employment contract. Would you like to work in a versatile and responsible role at the heart of administration? We are seeking an office secretary for the municipality of Rantasalmi. TASKS As an office secretary, you will be responsible for centralized decision-making and office services within the administration sector. The role also includes administrative support tasks for administrative, financial, and personnel services. The position is diverse and requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Your duties will include, among others: Committee and sector secretarial tasks - Processing invoices, preparing decisions, managing access rights, and electronic archiving Document and information management - Tasks related to document and information management Preparation of ongoing matters - Supporting the preparation of matters, documents, and decisions, as well as implementation tasks Reports and analysis - Conducting investigations, analyzing data, and reporting General administrative tasks - Various general administrative tasks and other tasks assigned by the employer Customer service and collaboration - Cooperation with different stakeholders and customer service What we expect from you - Suitable higher education degree or relevant vocational qualification (e.g., business college diploma) - At least two years of work experience in administrative support tasks in the public sector - Independent work approach, accuracy, and flexibility - Good cooperation and interaction skills - Excellent spoken and written Finnish language skills - Up-to-date ICT and computer skills, and ability to utilize social media alongside office tools - Interest in learning new systems and applications - Service-mindedness and ability to manage your own work We value: - Experience in municipal administration and related case management and decision-making systems - Knowledge of technical, construction, or environmental sectors We offer you - A versatile and varied work environment within a strong expert team - The opportunity to influence the development of our organization and ways of working - A work community where cooperation is an important part of daily life - The possibility to work partly remotely Join us in making administrative work smooth.
