We are seeking an Education Specialist for the joint LUC Teaching and Learning Services of our higher education institutions for the period 1.10.2026 - 31.7.2027 The Lapland University Consortium (LUC) is a nationally and internationally leading actor and pioneer in Arctic research and expertise. Our strategic choices are global Arctic responsibility, sustainable tourism, and future services and distance management. Approximately 10,000 students study and about 1,100 employees work in the University of Lapland and Lapland University of Applied Sciences, which form the Lapland University Consortium. Teaching and Learning Services provide joint services for Lapland University of Applied Sciences and the University of Lapland, handling applicant and student services as well as teaching support services. Teaching and Learning Services serve customers, students, and higher education staff. Your duties will include: - tasks related to the coordination and development of the study administration service entity for university education - tasks related to the development and implementation of study administration systems as part of the super-user team, as well as tasks related to Peppi super-user duties and study rights - support services related to student selection, study rights, study credits, graduation, internships, and theses in the Faculty of Social Sciences study office - guidance and counseling for students and support services for teachers - other tasks within Teaching and Learning Services.
