Do you want to be part of a traditional and respected domestic fish processing company? We are looking for a motivated smokehouse worker for a permanent position for our client, Kalavaltanen Oy! In this role, you will prepare high-quality domestic fish products as part of a close-knit and professional work community. Previous experience in the food industry or smoking work is considered an advantage, but it is not essential – the most important things are a positive attitude, precision, and a willingness to learn. You will receive comprehensive orientation for the position. Your responsibilities include versatile production-level work covering the entire smoking process: salting and smoking fish, packaging products, preparing smoking ovens, monitoring the process, cleaning, and ensuring the operational maintenance and cleanliness of equipment. You will also be responsible for the self-monitoring of quality and hygiene. We expect a proactive and responsible approach to work, carefulness regarding food safety, and good physical condition as the work is active. A hygiene passport (or willingness to obtain one) and Finnish language skills are required. We offer a permanent position in a stable food industry company and comprehensive occupational health care at a private medical center from the first day of employment. As an employee of HR Sata, you will receive strong support throughout your employment to ensure you succeed and enjoy your work.
