Registered Nurse, come work with us in the acute unit of the Children's Home Hospital! At the Children's Home Hospital, we provide care for acutely ill children and adolescents or those requiring short-term care contacts in their own homes. As a home hospital nurse, you enable the child to receive care at home instead of in a hospital. The work consists mainly of home visits in a two-shift system every day of the week. We work in close cooperation with the patient and their family. We look for an enthusiastic approach and a desire to participate in developing operations together with a skilled nursing team. We value a customer-oriented mindset, openness to development, and good interaction and cooperation skills. Experience working in specialized pediatric care is considered an advantage. We offer individual orientation and diverse training in a continuously evolving environment with many opportunities. The position also provides the opportunity to develop into an expert in pediatric palliative care. A driver's license is required for home visits. A hospital car is available for your use during visits. IV medication permits must be completed promptly. Language requirements: good oral and written skills in Finnish and satisfactory oral and written skills in Swedish, or good oral and written skills in Swedish and satisfactory oral and written skills in Finnish. We require vaccination protection in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act for those working in customer and patient areas, and a health certificate regarding pulmonary tuberculosis for those working in healthcare units. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as required for those working with children according to Section 6, Subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993).
