Vuorenmäki Kindergarten has 9 children's groups. Your work is supported by a wide range of early childhood education professionals in Kirkkonummi: the site's own special education teacher, early childhood education curators, psychologists, language and culture teachers, a digital coordinator, and other experts. As a social worker, you will work as a responsible educator in a children's group. Together with your work community, you will build a high-quality operational culture and learning environment for early childhood education and pre-primary education. With your special expertise, you bring communal, societal, and socio-pedagogical perspectives to pedagogical work. You will be responsible for multidisciplinary cooperation with the wellbeing services county. We expect strong cooperation skills and a desire to act communally and constructively. You will be able to influence your work, as we provide space for activity and new ideas. Salary and terms of employment are determined according to the general municipal civil service and employment contract (KVTES). The position is subject to a six-month probationary period. Eligibility requirement: Qualification as an early childhood education social worker according to Section 27 of the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018). New early childhood education social workers will be paid a recruitment bonus of 150 € / month for 12 months after the completion of the six (6) month probationary period. The prerequisite for granting the recruitment bonus is a currently valid employment relationship and fulfillment of eligibility requirements. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract within 30 days of receiving the selection decision (Act on the Investigation of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children 504/2002). The position requires a health certificate regarding respiratory tuberculosis according to Section 55 of the Communicable Diseases Act. Vuorenmäki Kindergarten is located in the center of Veikkola and operates as part of the Vuorenmäki Learning Center. The nearby forest and the sports park next to the kindergarten enable versatile year-round physical activity and activities in nature.
