Security Guard

The role of a multi-site security guard involves carrying out security tasks at a variety of client locations within the Helsinki metropolitan area, with assignments at different sites depending on the situation. Typical work environments include local guarding and lobby services, and duties are determined by your experience and competencies. We expect a professional approach, flexibility and collaboration with superiors, and a focus on customer safety and comfort. The job is governed by the security industry collective agreement (TES) for the Helsinki region at level III, plus a task-specific allowance of 150 EUR per month. Shifts cover all times of day, with a bias toward daytime hours. Requirements include previous security work experience, a valid security guard card, two years’ experience in the security sector, weapon-handling training and possession of lifting rights (or willingness to obtain the qualifications), strong Finnish language skills and fluent English, and a B-class driving license. Some client sites require a valid security clearance. Preferred qualifications include first aid training and a current regulator-level security guard certificate.
