Coordinator for Swedish-language Aalto Junior workshops, Espoo campus, hybrid.
We are seeking an energetic contributor to plan, coordinate and guide Swedish-language workshops for children and youth that take place in schools and on campus as part of Aalto University Junior. You will help create meaningful learning experiences aligned with the university’s themes of science, technology, art and economics, fostering courage, joy of doing, and curiosity in young people. The workshops will cover topics connected to science, technology, art and economics, in line with the university’s profile areas. As a Coordinator for the Swedish-language Aalto Junior, you will play a central role in delivering and developing school-linked workshop activities. Your tasks include planning, coordinating and implementing inspiring workshops for primary and secondary education. You will work with student mentors who report to you, and you will be part of the Junior team, supported by knowledgeable colleagues. We expect you to have pedagogical expertise suitable for work with children and youths, and studies or knowledge relevant to this field. Prior experience in working with children, youths, families and teachers is desired. In this role you will use strong communication and collaboration skills. Excellent Swedish and Finnish language skills and good English are required. You hold a higher university degree in a relevant field. A driving license (B) is required. We offer an interesting and versatile role in work with children and youths. You will be part of a motivated Junior team and work in a community of students, researchers and other professionals where we advance societally meaningful goals in science and education. The workplace is at the renewed and vibrant Otaniemi campus, with versatile services and good transport connections by metro and the major roads. Possibility to work partly remotely and flexible working hours. The position is full-time and fixed-term from 1 November 2026 to 30 June 2029. Salary is determined according to the University’s pay system, for the role €3,100–€3,400 depending on prior experience and knowledge.
