Facility Services Supervisor

The wellbeing services county of South Savo (Eloisa) is seeking a Service Supervisor for facility services at Mikkeli Central Hospital for a permanent position starting September 1, 2026, or as agreed. The Service Supervisor for facility services at Mikkeli Central Hospital is responsible for the supervisory duties of the unit, the management of the overall building technology of the properties, and the coordination of the functionality, maintenance, and development of building technology systems. The goal of the position is to ensure the safe, energy-efficient, reliable, and cost-effective use of technical systems and to lead facility services personnel and external service providers in accordance with the strategy of the South Savo wellbeing services county. The primary place of work is Mikkeli Central Hospital. Key tasks of the Service Supervisor: - responsible for the supervisory duties of facility services personnel (orientation, work direction, competence development, occupational wellbeing, and safety) - planning, directing, and monitoring facility services resources and daily operations - leading the maintenance, service, upkeep, and development of building technology systems - developing operating methods, work methods, and service processes - monitoring finances, budget, and resources - cooperation with various stakeholder units (healthcare units, procurement, external service providers, and authorities) - participating in the planning and implementation of investment, repair, and basic improvement projects Eloisa offers its employees a benefit worth 200 euros to be used for sports, culture, or wellbeing services. We want you to enjoy and thrive with us. Eligibility requirements for the position are a Bachelor of Engineering (AMK) in a technical field or a previous institute-level degree. In addition, sufficient work experience in a technical field is required. Experience in supervisory roles or management studies is considered an advantage. Furthermore, sufficient oral and written proficiency in the Finnish language is required for the performance of the duties. A six (6) month probationary period applies to the employment relationship.
