About the role

Relief staff for the Head and Neck Center for receptions, wards, operating rooms, and recovery rooms. Are you an experienced nurse? Do you crave variety in your workdays and are you eager to learn and develop new things with us? We are looking for more relief staff with surgical and anesthesia expertise, as well as people to work day shifts in receptions and two shifts on our wards. We are looking for two NURSES for the Head and Neck Center in different units for our relief staff. The purpose of the relief staff is to cover sudden absences of nurses, thereby securing our daily operations and patient access to care. We offer daily varying workstations and tasks. Relief staff activities are coordinated daily and continuously developed. We have a lot of different work offerings where you can expand your expertise: Ophthalmology receptions, ward, operating and anesthesia department, and day surgery. Ophthalmology treats various eye diseases and injuries, and performs e.g. eye surgical procedures. You will work in different units of Ophthalmology in the new Tammisairaala. Ear, nose and throat diseases and oral and maxillofacial surgery common ward, various receptions, operating and anesthesia department, and day surgery. We work diversely with ENT and oral and maxillofacial surgical patients, and handle urgent cases through our own clinic. Currently, we operate in the Surgical Hospital and the Meilahti area. We hope the applicant has previous experience in the care of surgical patients. You can come to work for us from various backgrounds, from the operating department, receptions or wards. The main thing is that you want to expand your expertise and are interested in varied work.
