Head Chef – Caverna Kaivopiha, Helsinki Would you like to be involved in building one of Helsinki's largest and highest-quality buffet restaurants? We are looking for an experienced and motivated head chef for a permanent full-time position at the new Caverna Kaivopiha restaurant in central Helsinki. We seek a person with strong experience in international restaurant kitchens and special expertise in designing, preparing, and developing high-quality European and Scandinavian buffet concepts. Job duties include planning, developing, and ensuring the quality of buffets, developing menus and recipes, ordering raw materials and managing inventory and waste, training staff, organizing work, developing skills, and being responsible for self-monitoring and food safety. We hope you have several years of experience as a head chef or similar managerial role, strong experience in international restaurant kitchens, special expertise in designing, preparing, and developing high-quality European and Scandinavian buffets, proven track record of maintaining quality and developing kitchen operations, good cost awareness and ability to work under pressure, a food safety certificate, and fluent Finnish and English language skills.
