Are you a physician interested in making a meaningful impact in student health care? We are inviting applications for a general practitioner in student health care at our Vaasa service point. The position is full-time (38 h 15 min per week) and permanent, starting around 30 September 2026 or by agreement. The job can also be part-time upon request. We work in a hybrid model combining on-site and remote consultations. You will work with young adults on typical health issues, including mental health, skin diseases, musculoskeletal symptoms, infections, and sexual health. Students are referred to the clinic through assessment of care needs. We use BeeHealth digital platform and the role includes remote consultations and chat-based advice. We offer comprehensive onboarding, colleague and supervisor support, good opportunities for consultation, training to develop your skills, and the chance to influence your job description. Salary and terms are determined by the agreement between YTHS and the Finnish Medical Association. The position’s pay scale is: General practitioners 6668–7348 €/month; Specialists 7410–8167 €/month. A personal pay component (6–24%) may be included in monthly pay. Attestations and statements are paid separately according to the collective agreement. We provide comprehensive occupational health services and ePassi wellness benefit and organize activities promoting work wellbeing at service points. Employment at YTHS may lead to a 6-month specialty training in general medicine. We require medical licensure and the right to practice as a healthcare professional, plus good communication skills.
