We are seeking a part-time (50%) nurse for the Pohjanmaan wellbeing district, initially placed at the diabetes unit, Jakobstad diabetes reception. The diabetes unit covers the entire Österbotten region and operates in 14 municipalities. We offer an interesting and diverse day job in diabetes care. The patient group mainly consists of type 2 diabetics. In our unit we develop diabetes care across many areas. Previous experience and knowledge in diabetes care are considered advantageous. The job requires the ability to work independently at patient reception and in a team, as well as self-leadership and flexibility. Responsibilities
- Work independently at patient reception and in a team.
- Develop diabetes care together with the unit across multiple areas.
- Provide day-to-day diabetes care for a predominantly type 2 diabetes patient group.
Requirements
- Licensed nurse as per the Health Care Professionals Act (559/1994).
- Good oral and satisfactory written skills in both national languages of the country.
- Also, valid vaccination protection according to Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016) §48.
- Probationary period applied.
