Job Title: Site Manager – Electrical Commissioning (Data Centers) Location: Sweden Contract Type: Long-Term Freelance / Consultant Contract Start Date: Immediate Monday-Friday Site Presence Required Competitive Hourly Rate Opportunity to work on a major Data Center programme Company Overview: Our client, is delivering large-scale Data Center projects and is seeking an experienced Site Manager – Electrical Commissioning to lead on-site installation, testing, and commissioning activities across critical electrical infrastructure. Role: As Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading all on-site construction, installation and commissioning activities, ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-schedule project delivery. You will coordinate Field Service Representatives (FSRs), contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders while overseeing commissioning activities from L2 through L5 and IST phases. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise Field Service Representatives across installation and commissioning activities - Manage commissioning phases including L2, L3, L4, L5 and Integrated System Testing (IST) - Act as the primary on-site contact for the client, general contractor, and stakeholders - Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to ensure programme delivery - Develop and maintain commissioning and installation schedules - Produce weekly progress reports and maintain site documentation - Monitor project performance, resource allocation, quality, and programme milestones - Drive compliance with QHSE standards, electrical safety procedures, and LOTO requirements - Promote a strong safety culture across all site activities Requirements: - Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent - Proven experience commissioning MV/LV electrical equipment - Previous Data Center commissioning experience (Hyperscale or Enterprise) - Experience managing site activities and leading technical teams - Strong understanding of electrical schematics and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) - Knowledge of L2 and L3 commissioning and testing procedures - Fluent English communication skills - Experience with switchgear, protection systems, or UPS equipment is highly desirable
