ICT Specialist (Key Account Manager), Digital Development

Would you like to develop digital services for Helsinki’s social services, health care and rescue services? Can you turn service-production needs into ICT solutions and vice versa? Join us as an ICT specialist working as a Key Account Manager. In the Key Account Manager role, you help service areas find digital solutions for the needs of day-to-day operations. You advise and guide service professionals on whether their needs can be addressed through digitalisation. You identify when processes and services can be improved through digital development. You assess whether development ideas are feasible, identify possible overlaps and synergies, and find out whether a suitable digital solution already exists in the division. You follow the opportunities offered by new technologies and artificial intelligence and participate in planning and carrying out experiments. The role focuses on the early stages of the digital development process. Your primary customers are service professionals. You help plan customer-oriented digital services, work with operational representatives to prepare preliminary cost estimates and explore possible development and procurement approaches, and help prioritise development proposals across the division. Your closest colleagues are specialists in the digital development unit, the Key Account Manager team and service-production professionals. As a Key Account Manager, you build networks in many directions and take part in multidisciplinary digital development with service representatives, senior experts in information management and IT administration, and other digitalisation specialists. You also collaborate with other divisions and service providers. When needed, you participate in national development work and collaboration as a representative of the division. You are used to working in varied environments, and organising and prioritising comes naturally to you. You are not unsettled by situations where there are no clear ways of working. You work naturally in networks of experts from different fields and openly share what you have learned in your field with the team and the organisation. You act fluently as an interpreter between ICT specialists and representatives of day-to-day operations. You will work with enthusiastic and skilled colleagues. Eligibility requirement: a suitable higher-education degree. To succeed in the role, you need experience working on digitalisation and ICT development projects; knowledge of the principles of using artificial intelligence; strong experience in network collaboration; familiarity with agile development methods; a solution-oriented and independent approach to work; good collaboration and communication skills; and good written and spoken Finnish and English.
