Registered Nurse, are you interested in ophthalmology nursing? We are seeking two registered nurses for fixed-term positions from 17.8. to 31.12.2026 for the Ophthalmology Cornea and Anterior Segment Surgery Unit at the new Tammisairaala. Description of the unit and the role At the Cornea and Anterior Segment Surgery clinic, we treat both anterior segment surgery patients and conservative cornea patients, such as those with complex infections. The nurses' job description includes working as partners to physicians at the clinics and taking various diagnostic images. Small eye procedures are also performed in our unit, where you will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise. There is also the possibility to work in nurse-led clinics as your skills develop. We value applicants with good interaction skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. We hope for a genuine interest and a positive attitude toward patient care. Previous experience in ophthalmology or clinic work is beneficial, but not essential. Proficiency in using Apotti is also considered an advantage. We currently work in the modern facilities of the new Tammisairaala. The work consists of day shifts.
