Project Engineer

Caverion is now looking for three project engineers for the Western Finland region. **What will you be doing?** Caverion is growing its substation business in the Western Finland region, where one of Finland's most significant data center construction projects is starting. We are now looking for several project engineers to join the project organization to work on a long-term substation project. As a project engineer, you will play a key role in the operational implementation of the project. Your tasks will include project documentation, reporting, coordination of procurement, quality assurance, supporting site operations, and monitoring project progress. You will work in close cooperation with the project manager, site management, and other project experts. The job description can be built according to your skills and interests. You will receive comprehensive orientation and support from experienced colleagues, allowing you to grow your expertise in demanding electrical infrastructure and data center projects. **What kind of expert are we looking for?** We are looking for project engineers with a technical educational background and an interest in developing within the field and in project work. You may be at the beginning of your career or an expert with more experience – the most important things are a proactive approach to work, a desire to learn new things, and an interest in electrical infrastructure construction. You will succeed in the role if you enjoy site and project environments, take active initiative, and interact smoothly with different people. We value a person who wants to understand the project as a whole and not just their own area of responsibility. **Requirements for the applicant:** - Active, proactive, and collaborative approach to work - Suitable technical education (e.g., electrical engineer, M.Sc. Work begins in September-October 2026 according to the agreement, and the project continues at least until 3/2028. Work is focused on the project site in Vaasa, so we expect a willingness to be on-site regularly. However, you can also live elsewhere in Finland, and if necessary, we will arrange accommodation in the Vaasa area. The role may also involve some travel within Finland according to the needs of the organization and the project.
