We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead steel construction projects from start to finish for our client Rautarakenne E. Kauppinen Oy. The role involves being part of a three-person project team and working closely with the CEO. The company specializes in steel contracting for industrial and public sector buildings, delivering from fabrication to installation with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and long-lasting customer relationships. Responsibilities include managing projects end-to-end, cost and bid calculations, procurement and material deliveries coordination, supervision of fabrication and on-site installations, schedule and cost tracking, invoicing, and client/partner communication. The ideal candidate will take full responsibility for projects, work independently, and have experience in steel construction or the construction industry. Proficiency in cost accounting and procurement, excellent reading of drawings, strong IT skills, proactive and flexible problem-solving attitude, and a driving license with own car are required. Training background could be in construction or mechanical engineering, but substantial practical experience in similar roles is equally accepted.
