We are looking for a nurse for the Meilahti Emergency Department – a versatile, fast-paced, and supportive learning community in the heart of Helsinki. You will work at the center of acute care in situations where smooth cooperation and interaction are as important as strong professional expertise. At the Meilahti Emergency Department, we treat patients from almost all specialties who have suddenly fallen ill or been injured and require immediate care. Regarding demanding specialized medical care, we serve the entire Uusimaa region. About Acute Care More than a thousand acute care professionals at HUS work daily for the benefit of patients, serving them. We are responsible for patient transport in the HYKS hospital area, adult emergency departments, the Emergency Help 116117 service, pre-hospital care in the HUS area, and the national Poison Information Center. In the acute emergency line, we treat patients both in emergency departments and emergency observation units at Meilahti, Malmi, Jorvi, Peijas, Hyvinkää, Lohja, and Porvoo hospitals.
