Tokio Karaoke Bar is a karaoke restaurant located in the best spot in Helsinki city center – in the Aikatalo building, at the intersection of Ateneuminkuja and Mikonkatu – combining a traditional Finnish pub atmosphere driven by karaoke with Tokyo-inspired aesthetics. In addition to its unique atmosphere, Tokio Karaoke is known for its exceptional 24/7 opening hours. Round-the-clock operation, a central location, and a lively atmosphere also make Tokio a unique workplace. We offer you: - work primarily in morning shifts. Wishes will be considered, but we are specifically looking for an employee committed to morning shifts; if necessary, you will also work in other shifts at all times of the day. - pay at least according to the collective agreement (TES) - salary expectations will be considered and negotiated based on your skills - work according to your availability and suitability, estimated 60-90h/3-week period, possibility to do overtime - significant staff benefits in all the group's restaurants starting from the first working day We expect from you: - at least two years of full-time equivalent work experience from a licensed restaurant or education in the field - a self-directed and proactive approach to work - your responsibilities include restaurant maintenance tasks, weekly cleaning, etc. - confidence to work in a shift alone, even in challenging customer situations We require: - fluent Finnish language skills - satisfactory English language skills - a liquor license (anniskelupassi) and practical knowledge of serving rules Liquor license and language requirements are absolute.
