Heavy equipment technician – Vaasa We are looking for a skilled and proactive heavy machinery technician for the Vaasa region. The tasks focus on maintenance, repair, and servicing of construction and transportation equipment. The equipment to be serviced includes trucks, trailers, and earthmoving machines. The role offers varied tasks both in the workshop and, if needed, on-site at construction sites. Duties include maintenance and repair of trucks and trailers; service and repair of earthmoving machines such as excavators; fault finding and diagnostics; brake, chassis and powertrain repairs; hydraulic maintenance and repairs; electrical fault finding and repairs as per competence; preventive maintenance and machinery condition monitoring; on-site maintenance tasks as required. You will be expected to have experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, suitable training or comparable on-the-job experience, good knowledge of heavy machinery systems, hydraulics, fault finding and independent problem solving, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A B-driver’s license is required; a C- or CE-license is an advantage.
