Product Development Engineer (Mechanical Design and Digitalization)

Product development engineer role within Sulzer Pumps Finland Oy, located in Kotka, involves participating in fundamental research and product development projects, with the opportunity to oversee the product lifecycle from design to testing and production, and to support a global sales network on your assigned area. The role focuses on mechanical design and development of measurement solutions and digital solutions for our products. The position requires on-site work at our Karhula product development center. Salary falls within 3900–4700 EUR per month; final compensation determined by experience and skills. You will be responsible for conducting fundamental research and product development projects, performing product maintenance tasks, supporting the global sales network on your domain, supporting the factory network including meeting customer requirements, planning and executing testing arrangements and analyzing test results. Requirements include suitable technical education and experience in mechanical design and/or automation engineering, fluency in Finnish and English, strong collaboration skills and a proactive, organized work style.
