Finance and Customer Service Specialist

Someron Lämpö Oy is seeking a finance and customer service specialist for a varied role in our small, practical organization. In the role, you will work as part of the company’s financial administration and be responsible especially for tasks related to district-heating customer service, invoicing, and contract administration. The role also includes accounting, payroll, and reporting tasks, as well as participating in the preparation of financial statements and annual reporting. We are looking for someone who, in addition to handling daily tasks, wants to actively participate in developing our working practices and reporting. Our aim is to harmonize financial and operational reporting and make better use of the opportunities offered by digitalization, automation, and various reporting tools in information processing and reporting. The duties include, among other things: - District-heating customer service - Heat invoicing and maintaining customer records - Preparing and maintaining heat contracts and connection matters - Daily accounting and financial administration tasks - Payroll - Compiling and preparing financial statement materials - Assisting with annual reporting and other financial and operational reporting - Developing and harmonizing the company’s reporting and reporting practices We expect you to have suitable commercial or other education that supports the role, and previous experience in financial administration. The role requires accounting and payroll skills and good IT capabilities. We value an initiative-taking and systematic approach, a customer-service orientation, and an interest in developing working practices and reporting. We also value familiarity with financial administration systems and reporting tools, as well as experience in developing reporting or financial administration processes. Previous experience in the energy or water services sector is considered an advantage.
