Early Childhood Education Assistant

We are looking for you to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team in Vihti to provide high-quality early childhood education in a learning-oriented community. The position is permanent. The first placement will be at Vihtijärvi Daycare. The assistant for early childhood education is responsible for the daycare's food service, cleanliness, and assisting in the child group. The daycare is small, so the assistant works closely as part of the daycare team. Vihtijärvi Daycare is a small village daycare near the beautiful Ylisepä buildings and the renovated school on the hill. Nearby are a renovated nature trail, a shelter, a ridge with a jogging track, a lake and sports field. The yard is a pleasant fenced area where children can engage in a variety of outdoor play ideas. Nature is an integral part of daily life. We often build shelters and take nature trips in the surrounding environment. Indoor spaces enable easy creation of different learning environments according to children’s needs and interests. We value both structured guided activities and children’s own creative play. Parent associations and village associations are actively involved in daily life. Cooperation with the school is carried out in practical subjects and various projects. The school becomes familiar to children already during daycare, easing the transition to basic education. Our daycare staff are committed, enthusiastic, and motivated.
